The Owensboro Daviess County Tennis Association held a ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of the new indoor tennis facility at Shifley Park.
The City of Owensboro, Daviess County Fiscal Court, Owensboro Public Schools and the Owensboro-Daviess County Tennis Association have partnered together on the $4 million project. The new facility features six indoor courts and nine outdoor courts, which are under construction and scheduled to be completed in June this year.
Play will begin at Centre Court on Monday morning, April 13. The Executive Racquet Club will be open through Sunday, April 12.
The Grand Opening Celebration will be Sunday, August 16.
