Country music artist Cole Swindell headlining diverse lineup.

Big O Entertainment, Owensboro, KY’s premier entertainment and production company, has announced the lineup of artists scheduled to perform at the Big O Music Fest – an outdoor music festival held annually at Reid’s Orchard.

The entertainment for this year’s Big O Music Fest is a powerhouse lineup, with performances from some of the most entertaining live performers around. The event will be headlined by Cole Swindell, and include fan favorite – Colt Ford. Also on the bill is the indie rock band Moon Taxi, Craig Campbell, Dylan Scott, Tucker Beathard, Muscadine Bloodline, and more.

“When you look at our lineup, and compare it to similar music festivals around the country, I think anyone would have a hard time finding a better value”, said Steve Terry, a promoter with The Big O Music Fest. “There is a little bit of something for everyone.”

The date for The Big O Music Fest is July 8, 2017, earlier than usual for the annual summer event. “We have heard, each year, that an earlier date would allow more college kids to attend, and with Moon Taxi on the bill, we certainly wanted to give them a chance to come enjoy the show. Moon Taxi and Cole Swindell (and several others on the bill) are very popular with the college crowd”, said Terry.

The event will be held at Reid’s Orchard on Hwy 144 in Owensboro. Gates open at noon, and music starts at 1pm.

“With all that’s happening in the city right now, The Big O Music Fest has been a huge part in helping Owensboro become a true destination city. We sell tickets all over the country, and we‘re very proud of the fact that we bring people to Owensboro, many for the first time, which in turn helps stimulate our local economy,” said Terry.

The event will be a true festival atmosphere with food, drinks, t-shirt and souvenir sales, along with attractions such as a mechanical bull and the military “Pull Up Challenge.” And, of course, a full day of great music. The promoters bill the show as “The Party of the Year”, and with over 12,000 in attendance last year, it would be hard to argue the point.
